Samuel Barber (1910-1981) was one of the most honored of American composers. Enjoy a celebration of his chamber music and song with pianist Frank Johnson and leading Bay Area musical artists: the Cello Sonata, Op. 6; Summer Music, Op. 31 for woodwind quintet; Canzone, Op. 38a; and more.

Diane Grubbe has appeared as a soloist with the Siena Music Festival in Italy, the San Francisco Concerto Orchestra, L’Orchestre de Notre Dame in San Francisco and the Calabasas Chamber Orchestra in Southern California, with whom she recorded the Vivaldi Piccolo Concerto for their CD The Baroque Concerto.
