The SF Community Music Center’s Shenson Faculty Concert Series presents Diane Grubbe performing 20th and 21st Century works for flutes large and small by Mario Lavista, Andrew M. Rodriguez, Orlando Jacinto Garciá and Miguel del Aguila. The concert will include a discussion with Mr. Rodriguez about his work, Highways, for flute with glissando headjoint. Also featuring Frank Johnson, piano.

Quinteto Latino presents works by Gabriela Lena Frank, Felipe Nieto and Gabriela Ortiz in a video presentation for The Robert G. Boehmler Community Foundation Series at the Ithaca College School of Music YouTube channel.
Immediately following, there will be an online session for students, building on the diversity, equity and inclusion workshops held by Quinteto earlier this semester, and including IC alum composer Felipe Nieto, whose composition is part of the video performance.
